The bomb, attached to a bicycle, exploded at Airport Road in Quetta, the capital of the restive Balochistan province.
The man was killed instantly by the blast.
The injured were taken to a nearby hospital by a rescue team, police officials said.
Some persons with serious injuries were later shifted to the Combined Military Hospital.
Officials of the bomb disposal squad said about five to 10 kilograms of explosives were used in the attack.
The blast damaged several shops and vehicles.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
