A 30-year-old man was killed and six persons were injured when a speeding bus collided head on with a tractor trolley on Gola-Lakhimpur highway near Dhasrapur late this evening, police said.
The accident occurred when an under contract bus of Gola roadways depot was on its way to Gola and it collided with the tractor trolley which had made a swift turn while coming from the opposite direction, they said.
Six passengers were injured and the man riding the tractor was killed on the spot, police added.
Phardhan police officials reached the spot and sent the injured to district hospital, they said, adding, the accident also disturbed movement of traffic on the road.
