One person was killed and seven were injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a private bus today at Chandna, 30 kms from here, police said.
The incident took place in the morning when the bus was going from Jaipur to Jaisalmer and it collided with a truck coming from the opposite side, they said.
The deceased was identified as Isher Khan, the truck driver.
The injured passengers were admitted to a government hospital in Jaisalmer, they said, adding that the remaining passengers of the bus were brought to Jaisalmer by another bus.
