One killed six injured in accident on Yamuna Expressway

One person was killed and six others were injured when the car they were travelling in was hit by an unknown vehicle on the Yamuna Expressway here, police said today.

The accident took place 40 km from Zero Point on the expressway near Jewar.

Seven persons from Bagpat were travelling in a Scorpio car from Noida to Agra when an unknown vehicle hit their car, police said.

All the seven were rushed to hospital. One of them, Shispal, died during treatment.

The injured were identified as Arvind, Lokendra, Mohit, Shreepal, Harbir and Shahid.

Their condition was stable by late evening today, but they were still not out of danger, police said.
 

Meanwhile, two other road accidents were also reported from twin town last night, they said.

At Noida, Dipankar Vishwas died in Salarpur area last night when his scooty was hit by a truck.

One Rahul died in Surajpur area here near Delhi Police Society.
