One killed, three injured in armed group clash

One person was killed and three others, including a woman, were injured in an armed clash between two groups over a disputed land in Bihar's Aurangabad district today.

The incident occurred at Akauna village in the Obra police station area when the two groups, one led by Shivmangal Yadav and the other by Brij Kishore Yadav, fired at each other, Daudnagar Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said.

The deceased has been identified as Birju Yadav,the Dy SP said and added that the three injured had been identified as Poonam Devi, Roshan Kumar and Banarsi Yadav.

All three injured have been admitted to Sadar hospital at Aurangabad for treatment, he said.
 

The police has arrested four persons on the basis of statements of the relatives of the deceased, the Dy SP said adding that the police has taken control of the body and sent it to sadar hospital for post-mortem.
