One person was killed and three others injured when a blast occurred in a chemical boiler of a factory in Bhiwari area of Alwar district, the police said today.
The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Nirbhay Nand Yadav, a resident of Ghunsa village. The injured Sunil, Hariom and Sameer were rushed to a hospital in serious condition, they said.
The accident occurred last evening at Sharp Global company's menthol boiler when due to sudden reaction of gases the boiler's lid exploded on the maintenance workers in which Nirbhay was killed and three others wounded, they said.
An FIR has been registered on the company, they said.
