One person was killed and three others were injured today after being struck by lightning in Bishunpur Khairahnia village, police said.
The incident took place when Sachin Yadav (36), Rajan (10), Subhash (10) and Ram Shila (12) others were outside with their cattle.
Sachin was killed on the spot.

Chief Minister V Narayanasamy announced that the family of
the victim would get a total solatium of Rs eight lakhs.
Making the announcement in the assembly, he said the government would provide Rs four lakhs from the Disaster Relief Fund and Rs one lakh from the CM's Relief Fund.
In addition to this, Rs one lakh would be paid from the Insurance scheme operated by Federation of Fishermen Cooperative Societies and Rs 2 lakhs under the Centrally operated Group Insurance scheme.
Narayanasamy also announced that Rs 20,000 each would be provided to fully damaged huts in Vanarapet hamlet, where around 20 huts were gutted when lightning hit the village.
A sum of Rs 10,000 would be provided to partially damaged huts.
AIADMK member A.Anbalagan stressed the need for construction of concrete houses as people in coastal hamlets were facing hardships during natural calamities.
The Chief Minister said the government would approach the centre for sanction of funds for replacing the huts with concrete buildings.
