One person was killed today and two others injured when a speeding tanker rammed into a stationary truck in Maharajpur area here, police said today.
The 32-year-old truck cleaner identified as Vijay, was tying a rope at the truck's back yesterday when a tanker driver lost control of his vehicle in an attempt to save a cow, they said.
While Vijay died on the spot, the tanker driver Ajay and its cleaner Jitender were severly injured.
The body has been sent for postmortem and the injured were rushed to hospital where their condition was stated to be critical, police said adding, further investigations are on in the case.
