The weather in West Bengal is likely to remain mostly dry with possibility of one or two spells of rain at isolated places for the next couple of days, the Met department said in its forecast today.
There is, however, possibility of thunderstorm at some places in Gangetic West Bengal till tomorrow morning, the Met department said.
High relative humidity continued to trouble parts of Gangetic West Bengal, including Kolkata, where perspiration during the day and in the evening caused a lot of discomfort among the people.

Coochbehar in North Bengal recorded 52.5 mm of rainfall in 24 hours till 8.30 AM this morning, making it the highest precipitation during the period in the state.
Neighbouring Jalpaiguri recorded 12.5 mm rainfall during the same period, the Met department said.
Other parts of the state remained mostly dry with thunderstorms having occurred at isolated places.
