Mintem Kadu, one of the house owners and the village gaon burah, was burnt to death in the tragic fire incident that occurred at 4 pm yesterday, a delayed official report said here.
Household properties including traditional ornaments and groceries, and food stuffs worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed in the blaze. The exact cause of the fire was not known.
Meanwhile, local MLA Tako Dabii, who is presently stationed at Delhi in a faxed message, sought immediate relief from the Deputy Commissioner, Pasighat for the affected families.
