Rival groups of Irfan Qureshi and Radhey Shyam Upadheya clashed over the old enmity last evening.
The two sides attacked each other with fire arms and also pelted stones.
Qureshi (32) died on the spot in the incident.
A case has been registered against six persons in this regard, Additional SP Atul Saxena said.
In another incident, one person was killed and five others injured when two groups clashed over a petty issue at Shoram village in the district yesterday.
Mahar Singh and Ashok clashed over collecting water from a public hand pump for their cattle.
The deceased has been identified as Harender (35).
The injured have been admitted to a hospital and security has been tightened in the village, they said.
