A 25-year-old youth was shot dead in Haripur village under Jagdishpur police station in the district here today, police said.
The deceased was identified as Rahul Singh, resident of Haripur.
SHO Jagdishpur Shiv Muni Yadav said that four persons have been named in the FIR.
The accused are Atul, Abhishek, Sarju and one other, all residents of the same village.
No arrest has been made so far, he added.
