ONGC will take on Indian Army in the finals of the 50th PSG Trophy All India Basket Ball Tournament for men, scheduled for tomorrow here.
ONGC defeated Punjab 85-67 to enter the finals.
The winners were far ahead with 38-19 at half time. Though Punjab rallied to score 48 points in the second half as against 47 by ONGC, that was not not enough to find a berth in the finals, as they could not erase the huge deficit of the first half.

In another semi-final match, Indian Army defeated Indian Overseas bank, 67-56.
The winners were at 33-32 at the half time. Mayur Bhart scored 22 points for Army, while Amyjot Singh GIll played well for the losers, scoring 14 points.
In the women's category, Southern Railway will meet Western Railway in the finals of the 13th CRI Trophy All India Basket ball Tournament for Women.
Southern Railway entered the finals by defeating Eastern Railway 73-62.
Points were neck to neck till half time, with Southern Railway leading 37-35.
However, the winners moved fast in the second half scoring 36 points against Eastern Railway's 27.
Western Railway entered the finals by defeating South Central Railway 66-54, with a massive lead of 46-14 at the half time.
Manish S Dange scored 26 points for the winners and Gayathri potted 19 for the losing team.
