A top Trinamool Congress leader today made a faux pas by saying that there was only 'one post' in the party, that of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the rest were 'lamp posts'.
"There is only one post in Trinamool Congress, that is Mamata Banerjee, and we the rest are all lamp posts," said Assembly Deputy Speaker Sonali Guha, a close aide of Banerjee at a party student rally here.
Guha was speaking on Banerjee's uncompromising fight against the CPI(M) to oust it from power, before the arrival of the chief minister at the venue here.
The ruling party has often been dubbed by the Opposition as being a one-woman show.
