Only 'Parivar' and no 'Janata': BJP on 'Janata Parivar'

Press Trust of India New Delhi
BJP today hit out at 'Janata Parivar' saying it is a "failed idea" and a formation of parties that only have 'Parivars'(families) but not the support of 'Janta' (public) as their policies preached politics of "untouchability" and against the poor.

"Janata Parivar is a failed idea. They have always misled the poor and farmers and are now getting together out of frustration.

"They only have 'Parivars' and not the 'Janta' which has left them due to their politics of untouchability and policies that are against the poor," BJP national Secretary Shrikant Sharma said.

The comments came in the wake of 'Janata Parivar' parties getting together under one common platform to take on the BJP rise across the country, especially ahead of Bihar assembly elections slated later this year and the 2017 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

The BJP leader also accused them of coming in the way of country's progress and acting as an impediment in its growth.

He said the people of Bihar will not allow formation of 'Jungle Raj 2' in the state as they have already seen and tested the 'Janata Parivar'.

Various socialist parties have plans to come together under the 'Janata Parivar' platform to unitedly take on the BJP.
