: The Congress led UDF Opposition in Kerala today took a dig at the CPI(M) led LDF regime's reported decision to stop printing the government diary for 2017 after CPI cabinet ministers objected to names not being listed in alphabetical order, as is the practice.
In a Facebook post, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala 'wondered how people who cannot print an annual diary rule the state'.
Normally after the name of the Chief Minister, names of the ministers are typed in alphabetical order.

Agitated CPI ministers complained to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, following which the printing was stopped, Chennithala said and quipped 'how can people who cannot print a diary run the state?.
Rethinking on the matter, especially after 40,000 diaries have been printed, was an irresponsible step and a waste of taxpayers money, he said.
The Congress leader also said that the 'big brother' attitude of CPI(M towards CPI, the second largest partner in LDF, was the basic reason for the mix up.
