Opposition can't point finger at Modi regime on graft: Rudy

Asserting that the Central government had shown zero tolerance to corruption, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy today said nobody from Opposition has even dared to point a finger at Narendra Modi regime on corruption issue.

"During one year of our regime, what to talk of indulging in corruption, nobody from Opposition has not even dared to point a finger at the government on corruption issue," he said here on the occasion to mark the first anniversary of BJP-led government at the Centre.

Citing coal block auctions, Rudy said, the Centre had fetched Rs 2 lakh crore from auction of 30 blocks, which is an example of transparent regime.
 

Accusing the previous Congress-led UPA Government of doing nothing, the Union minister said, they were ineffective and hit by numerous scams.

Asserting that the present NDA government during its one year rule, has undertaken all-round development, Rudy said, "We can say with pride "Sal ek, shuruvaat anek (in just one year we have begun work on many fronts)."

Highlighting achievements of the government on various fronts, the Union minister said, because of the efforts of the Modi government there is a broad consensus on GST among states as after its implementation there will be ease in inflation and boost to industrial production.

He further said that the Modi government has taken number of steps for the benefit of all sections of society including poor, women, Dalit, labourers, tribals and minorities.
