Taking part in a debate in the House, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric's) Legislative Party Leader Pradip Yadav said a many people of the state was suffering from displacement and their problems should be solved.
For this, he suggested setting up of R&R Commission.
Supporting Yadav, Congress MLA Anant Pratap Deo said the state government should take initiative to solve the problem instead of shifting the blame on the Union government.
On a debate on drought, JVM (Prajatantric) MLA Samresh Singh asked the state government not to go ahead with acquiring land at Nagri on the outskirts of Ranchi as the farmers have been using it for long.
He also asked the Arjun Munda government to ensure that the management of Bokaro Steel Plant should stop issuing notices to people of 20 villages in Bokaro to vacate land.
"Our farmers would prefer bullets rather than giving up their land," warned Singh.
