Talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Oscar-winning musician Common will be seen on the upcoming season two of popular TV series "Empire".
Series co-creator Lee Daniels revealed that he has written roles for the two stars, reported E! Online.
"Yes. Yeah. She's gonna be on it," Daniels said about Winfrey, who has previously starred in his movie, "Lee Daniels' The Butler".

Asked how he's going to get Winfrey to show up, Daniels jokingly said, "I'm going to punch her in the stomach, grab her by her hair." As for the character she is going to play, co-creator Danny Strong said they are still figuring it out.
Daniels teased there would be more famous faces making appearance on the show in season two.
"Next season we're going to surprise you even more with some of the guest stars. It's great because now we want to know that people want to watch us and that's a great place to be. My friends now feel great coming on the show, so it's really exciting," he said.
