Media mogul Oprah Winfrey's first segment as a "60 Minutes" correspondent will air during the season premiere of the show's 50th season.

The series will be broadcast on September 24, reported Variety.

It is, however, unknown what subject Winfrey will cover in her first "60 Minutes" story.

In January, the CBS announced that the 63-year-old talk show host would join the long-running news magazine in the coming season.

The newtork welcomed Winfrey as a "special contributor" to the acclaimed newsmag, adding she would make her first appearance on the Sunday franchise later this year.
