To check the man-animal conflict, Jammu and Kashmir government will use organic fencing, a low cost methodology.
"A low cost methodology is being introduced in critical areas of the state aimed at reducing man-animal conflict," Forest Minister Mian Altaf Ahmad said.
Under the methodology an organic fencing is used to keep wildlife animals like bear and leopard away from human habitation, he said.

Low cost replents like, 'Bhudh Jhalkal' (hottest red chilli), Brunt Mobile, Jute Bags and Cow dung are being used which keeps such wild animals away from the villages, he said.
This methodology has already been successfully practised in Assam, West Bengal, Karnataka, Orissa and Tamil Nadu.
The minister was chairing meeting of wildlife department officials here.
He said that some seismic censors (advanced warning system) and camera traps are also proposed to be used for the purpose in near future.
