Press Trust of India Jaipur
AICC General Secretary Gurudas Kamat today said that organisational changes would soon be made in the party in Rajasthan and only committed party workers would get "priority and importance".

Kamat, who was in the city to review the party's performance in recently held civic bodies polls, said that those leaders who did not perform in the elections and worked against the party would face action and no such leader will be given priority.

"We will also take action against those district level leaders and party's office bearers who have not followed the directions from PCC headquarters," he told PTI.

Organisational changes would soon be made in the party in Rajasthan, Kamat said.

During discussion on poll performance, district level leaders traded charges of non-cooperation and anti-party activities during elections against each other, party sources said.

Several local leaders alleged that the party in-charges of their units were "inexperienced" and "incapable". There are also allegations of selling of tickets by the party in-charges, the sources said, adding that heated arguments broke out among the local leaders, both inside and outside the meeting venue.

PCC chief Sachin Pilot was also present in the review meet with Kamat.
