Congress workers in Jammu and Kashmir have been exhorted to organise their grassroots units and propagate the policies and programmes of the party in the state as they gear up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The above call was issued today by AICC secretary in- charge of J-K affairs, Mainul Haque, as he addressed a series of meetings with party workers in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Saying that Congress has a history of sacrifice to protect the secular ideals, unity and integrity of the nation, Haque asked party workers to counter the propaganda of communal and divisive forces.
