Tata Group firm Oriental Hotels today said its board has approved appointment of Pramod Ranjan as managing director and CEO of the company.
"The Board of Directors of the company on the recommendation of nomination and remuneration committee has approved the appointment of Pramod Ranjan... As the managing director and chief executive officer of the company effective November 11, 2015," Oriental Hotels said in a filing to BSE today.
Ranjan is a non-executive director on the board.
The appointment is "subject to the approval of members pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013," Oriental Hotels said.
The stock today closed at Rs 26.20 on BSE, down 2.60 per cent.
