The partnership will equip Orion Edutech with Brain Valley's scalable cloud-based solution, Quizky, for conducting error-free high-stake tests, addressing the Indian $3.4 billion vocational/corporate training market which is growing at 15% annually, the company said in a release.
Funded by Ventureast, Orion Edutech, established in 2007, provides training to more than 1.4 million job aspirants, in addition to placing more than 1 lakh candidates in over 350 companies from 150+ training centres spread across 19 states in India.
Stating that by virtue of acquiring a majority stake, Orion will now own the IP of Brain Valley's flagship assessment solution Quizky, the company said this strategic investment will augment Orion Edutech with its powerful, feature-rich cloud based simulated test interface, providing a detailed analysis, automating and streamlining tests.
Brain Valley was founded in 2011 and is providing more than 1.5 million assessments for an array of competitive exams.
