Academy Awards producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin have assured fans that the upcoming 88th Oscar show will be "the most diverse ever."
The Academy has been at the receiving end since the announcement of this year's nominations for leaving out people of colour.
At the Oscar nominees luncheon, the producers said the show will represent what "the world looks like," reported Variety.

Hudlin said that an Oscar nomination is "an amazing moment in the life of any nominee," and that the lunch is intended to celebrate their accomplishments.
Both agreed that it is crucial for the entire film industry to attain inclusion, but there is also room to celebrate the great film work of 2015, which has been somewhat overshadowed in the past month.
Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' president Cheryl Boone Isaacs said in addressing the luncheon crowd, "This year, there's an elephant in the room. I have asked the elephant to leave."
The 88th Academy Awards will take place on February 28.
Indian audience can catch it live on February 29 on Star Movies and Star Movies Select HD at 5:30 AM, followed by a repeat at 8:30 PM.
