Over 1,200 bottles of illicit liquor seized in Delhi

In a crackdown against smuggling and sale of illegal liquor, Excise officials in Delhi have seized 1,212 bottles of illicit liquor during a raid at Bindapur colony area here.

The bottles of illegal liquor were seized last night after the Excise officials arrested the accused, identified as Vikram, a resident of J J Colony in Bindapur, during the raid.

"Out of these 1212 bottles of illicit liquor, 84 bottles of Besto Whisky were for sale in Arunachal Pradesh, 696 bottles of Rassila Santra for sale in Harayana and 432 bottles of Kingfisher Beer for sale in Harayana," Excise Commissioner J B Singh said.
