"This is the highest turnout we have registered on a day during the current trade fair," an India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) official said.
The first day of the exhibition for general public had seen over 70,000 footfalls, he said.
Over 6,000 exhibitors from India and abroad are participating in the fair to exhibit a wide variety of products ranging from electronics, decorative items, FMCG and accessories.
As many as 487 exhibitors from countries like Russia, South Africa, Canada and Pakistan are showcasing their products. Last time there were around 230 foreign exhibitors.
The fair will conclude on November 27.
