Thieves broke into a jewellery shop here and decamped with over one kg gold jewellery , police said.
The incident came to light when the owners arrived to open the shop Tuesday morning.
The shop had remained closed since Saturday.
The thieves had gained entry into the shop by drilling a hole in the back side of the building, which houses the jewellery store, police said.
