Over hundred employees including 11 officers of Social Justice and Empowerment Department were today issued show cause notices for allegedly remaining unavailable during office hours without prior information.
MoS for Social Justice and Empowerment Arun Chaturvedi inspected the directorate for differently-abled persons and found 40 officers and other employees absent.
He later paid a surprise visit to Social Justice and Empowerment Department in Ambedkar Bhawan where 69 employees were unavailable during duty hours without prior information, according to a statement released here.
The minister directed officials to issue show cause notices and take appropriate actions against them.
