Over 120 properties in Karol Bagh issued stop-work notices

Over 120 properties in Karol Bagh Zone in north Delhi have been issued stop-work notices in the first three days of a survey done by the NDMC for ongoing unauthorised constructions, the civic body said today.

In the first three days of the survey of dangerous buildings, which began on Sunday, 8798 properties were surveyed in the zone and ongoing unauthorised constructions were observed in 124 properties, the North Delhi Municipal Corporation said.

The notices were issued to them on the spot, and police was also endorsed a copy of the same to keep a vigil. The properties which were issued notices are situated in H-16, E-16, I-16 of Bapa Nagar, Tank Road, Dev Nagar and Khalsa Nagar, among others.
 

The recent collapse incident in Inderlok area had taken place in Karol Bagh Zone, which claimed 10 lives.
