Over 17,000 animals examined in Panchkula Pet Animal Centre

Haryana Chief Secretary D S Dhesi today held a meeting to review the services provided by Pet Animal Health Centre, Panchkula and disclosed that 17,043 animals were examined in this centre till November.

In the meeting with Haryana Governing Council of Pet Animal Health Society, it was disclosed that this centre is among the best centers to provide the pet animals with facilities of check up, treatment and hostel in North India.

This centre is providing best of the services in Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.

It was also disclosed till November 2015, as many as 17,043 animals were examined in OPD in this centre.
 

Besides this, 63 surgeries and 234 Animal Birth Control surgeries were conducted, while, 1,732 laboratory tests, 528 X-ray and ultrasound were done and 528 dogs were provided with dog hostel facility.

In the meeting, it was disclosed that to keep the centre full of all facilities, the governing council has given approval for the installation of CCTV camera on the premises of society and sensor operated door of OPD.

It was also disclosed that this centre has budget of Rs 10 lakh, besides this, the income of this centre from various services would also be utilized for the facility of animals.
