Over 180 businessmen participate in trade seminar in China

About 180 businessmen and entrepreneurs from India and China today participated in a trade and investment forum held in central Guangdong Province in southern China, aimed at promoting trade and investment in India.

The India-China Trade and Investment Forum was organised by the Consulate General of India in Guangdong, as part of a series of events the mission has organised for the promotion of trade and investment in India.

It was attended by over 50 Indian entrepreneurs, half of them came from India, a statement released by the Consulate said.

The seminar was followed by a structured B2B meeting where Indian and Chinese businessmen had an opportunity to interact with one another.
 

Consul General of India Y K Sailas Thangal highlighted the huge potential for cooperation and win-win growth for India-China bilateral trade and investments.

He also underscored the vital role that Foshan city and its entrepreneurs can play in enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between India and China.
