Over 2 lakh pilgrims pay obeisance at Amarnath

A fresh batch of 139 pilgrims left to pay obeisance at cave shrine of Amarnath in South Kashmir.

The batch comprising 96 men and 43 women left in seven vehicles from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu for Pahalgam and Baltal today, officials said.

On the 42nd day of Amarnath yatra today, 197 pilgrims paid obeisance at the Holy Cave, taking the total number of yatris who had visited the shrine to 2,19,294, an official spokesman said.
