Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today presented Rajya Puraskars to 328 Scouts and Guides of the state and asked the government to provide them suitable premises for setting up training centres in the twin capitals.
The Governor also felicitated young rover leader Haroon Malik, who recently represented India in the Asia Pacific Programme held in Sancheon, Asia Pacific Scout Centre, South Korea and underwent a three month course there, an official spokesman said.
The Award Presentation Ceremony held at Raj Bhavan here and was attended among others by first lady Usha Vohra and Minister for Public Works and President of the J&K (S&G) Naeem Akhter Andrabi, the spokesman said.
