Over 350 exhibitors from 50 countries are likely to converge at a three-day expo to showcase their capabilities for building smart cities in India.
Being organised by Exhibitions India Group (EIG), the second edition of the 'Smart Cities India 2016' expo will be held at Pragati Maidan from May 11 to 13.
"We have received an incredible response from countries and companies to participate in the expo, clearly demonstrating international interest towards the Smart Cities mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi," EIG Chairman Prem Behl said in a release.

The event will witness exhibition and conference covering various segments including waste and water management, smart environment, urban planning, green buildings, smart transport, IT and communications, e-governance, safety and security, smart manufacturing, and disaster management.
The expo has the support of 10 central ministries and a host of international associations, the release said.
