As much as 43,61,437 metric tonnes of wheat has arrived in mandis In Haryana so far out of which 43,61,322 metric tonnes of wheat has been purchased by government procurement agencies.
While giving detailed information, an official spokesperson said that as per the weather prediction, rain may occur at some places in the state on April 27 and 29.
Keeping in view the possibility of rain, the traders in mandis have been urged to make sufficient arrangements of tarpaulin, wooden crates and polythene to save the wheat from rains.

The farmers have also been requested to bring the wheat in the mandis according to the weather predictions.
He said that over 18.63 lakh metric tonnes of wheat had been purchased by Hafed, whereas Food and Supplies Department ad purchased 12.95 akh metric tonnes.
Haryana Agro Industries Corporation has purchased over 4.77 lakh metric tonnes, Haryana Warehousing Corporation over 7.18 lakh metric tonnes, Confed 5,800 metric tonnes and 115 metric tonnes of wheat was purchased by traders.
