Over 50 KPs courted arrest during protest against power cut

Led by Jagti Tenement Committee president Shadi Lal Pandita, over 300 KPs took out a march in Jagti township in Nagrota belt, protesting erratic power supply and unscheduled power cuts in the township.

They also demanded free electricity to 4,242 flats in the township.

Meanwhile, police prevented the KPs to march to Jammu- Srinagar National Highway, after which over 50 agitators courted arrest.
