Nearly one-and-a-half dozen cartons of bearing (a machine element) were stolen by unidentified persons from a warehouse in Sitapura industrial area, police said today.
The incident took place last night and came to light this morning when the warehouse staff found 16-17 cartons missing from the stock, they said.
A CCTV footage shows four men entering into the warehouse. It is likely that they took the cartons on motorcycles, police said.
The stock was of a pump manufacturing company, they said.
An FIR will be lodged in the matter and investigations are on, police added.
