Burglars looted Rs 17.60 lakh in cash besides gold ornaments from office of a private company here, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when some unidentified persons gained entry into office of Sri Ram Chits Private Ltd near Boat Club by cutting iron grills using gas-cutters, a senior police official said.
As per the complaint registered with police, cash worth Rs 17.60 lakh and gold ornaments weighing 224 grams were stolen.
Further investigations are on.
