Over Rs 7 cr assistance given to beneficiaries by HSCFDC

Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSCFDC) has so far provided a financial assistance Rs 7.41 crore, including Rs 81.13 lakh as subsidy, to 1,185 beneficiaries under various schemes during the current financial year.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of the corporation said members belonging to Scheduled Castes are being provided loans under different sectors to enable them to set up their ventures and make them self-employed.

These sectors included agriculture, industry, trade and business, he said.

Giving details, the spokesman said under agriculture and allied sector, financial assistance of Rs 4.89 crore was given to 833 beneficiaries for dairy and piggery farming, sheep rearing and
 

purchase of camel-cart or mule-cart during the same period.

Out of this, over Rs 4.39 crore were given as bank loan and Rs 49.57 lakh as subsidy, he said.

He said Rs 17.40 lakh were given to 29 beneficiaries under industrial sector and the amount included Rs 12.76 lakh as bank loan, Rs 2.90 lakh as subsidy and Rs 1.74 lakh as margin money.

The spokesman said while Rs 2.27 crore were given to 314 beneficiaries under trade and business sector, including over Rs 1.76 crore as bank loan, Rs 28.56 lakh were given as subsidy and Rs 22.73 lakh as margin money.

He appealed to the people to avail maximum advantage of the various schemes being implemented by the corporation for their welfare.
