Over two dozen Naxals surrender in Chhattisgarh

More than two dozen Naxals, including three women, today surrendered before security forces in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district.

"A total of 27 Naxal cadres, including three women, surrendered today. They will be given rehabilitation grants as per government schemes," officials said.

They said the surrender was effected by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and senior state police officers deployed for conducting anti-Maoist operations in the district.
