Overcast skies and scattered rains today offered respite to the national capital with both maximum and minimum temperatures settling below normal.
Light showers were recorded at Lodhi Road, Ridge and Safdarjung observatories while Palam and Ayanagar weather stations remained dry.
The maximum temperature today settled at 37 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average and 3.6 degrees less than yesterday, while the minimum was two notches below normal at 25.9 degrees, MeT department officials said.

Humidity continued remain low as it oscillated between 50 and 29 per cent.
For tomorrow, the weatherman has predicted partly cloudy skies, along with the possibility of dust storms and thunderstorms accompanied by squalls in some parts of the city.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 37 and 25 degrees respectively," the officials said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.6 degrees while the minimum settled at 28.9 degrees.
