Overcast skies in Delhi; shallow fog likely tomorrow

Overcast conditions prevailed in the national capital today with the maximum temperature reading at a comfortable 24.5 degrees, a notch below the season's average.

The minimum temperature recorded was 13.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal for this time of the year, a MeT department official said.

However, the humidity in air oscillated between the higher levels of 96 and 72 per cent.

The MeT department has predicted partly cloudy skies for tomorrow.

"The skies will be generally overcast. There will be shallow to moderate fog in the morning in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 25 and 13 degrees Celsius, respectively," said the weatherman.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled at 22.9 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 13.5 degrees.
