Overnight rains, thunderstorm bring down mercury in Delhi

Overnight rains and thunderstorm ended the brief warm spell Delhiites have been experiencing for the last couple of days and brought back chill in the air.
Rain gauges measured 7.6 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours ending 8:30 AM this morning.
Maximum temperature in the national capital plummeted from yesterday's 27.1 deg C to 22.6 deg C today which is 2 degrees below normal for this part of the year.
Surprisingly, minimum temperature rose from yesterday's 13.9 deg C to 14.9 deg C, four notches higher than the normal level.
Weatherman predicted a cloudy weather for Delhi tomorrow with possibility of rain and thunderstorm in some parts of the city. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 23 and 13 deg C, respectively.
 
Humidity oscillated between 98 to 68 per cent during the last 24 hours.
