With Assam's one-horned rhinos under threat from poachers, Oxford Bookstores has tied up with WWF-India to spread awareness about their conservation.

The partnership aims at raising funds, creating public consciousness and sharing responsibility on sustainably conserving the rhino and its habitat in the northeastern state.

Customers of Oxford Bookstores in 11 cities across the country will voluntarily donate towards 'Give Back to Nature' in this effort. The partnership seeks to enrol customers of Oxford Bookstores and its hip Cha Bar in the cause of conservation.

'Conservation Saturdays', a once-a-month program with topics as broad as possible and inviting people of all age groups, businesses of all types and sizes, as well as individuals, will be hosted at the refurbished Oxford Bookstore at Connaught Place here.

Also customers can buy WWF-India merchandise at the 'Green Corner' at the bookstores.
