PACS Chairman injured in attack, brother killed

The armed assailants, riding on three motorcycles, stormed into the house of the PACS Chairman Surendra Rai and fired indiscriminately on him and his brother Chandeshwar Rai, the sources said.

While Rai sustained injuries, his brother died in a hospital during treatment, they said, adding the PACS Chairman was battling for life.

Personal enmity was stated to be the motive behind the firing at Rai brothers, the sources said, adding a case has been registered in this connection and investigation was going on.
