Paints worth lakhs of rupees were stolen from a shop in Dhada Kasna Market here, police said.
The incident took place last night and an FIR was registered by the shop owner at the Kasna police station today, they said.
Meanwhile, a theft incident was also reported from Noida.
Battery was stolen from a car in Kanavni under Sector 58 police station area, police said.
A man named Sunil was also arrested in Sector 58 last night for alleged illegal mining and a dumper was seized from him, according to police.
The Expressway police station officials last night arrested an alleged liquor smuggler named Mukul and seized six cartons of smuggled liquor from him.
Also, at a factory in Sector 80 under Noida Phase 2 police station area, security guards nabbed a thief while he was stealing goods from the factory last night, police said.
He was handed over to police.
Two bundles of paper roll allegedly stolen by him was also recovered, police said.
