A pair of giant panda twins have been displayed to the public for the first time after being born at the municipal zoo in southwest China's Chongqing city last year.
The baby pandas nicknamed Da Shuang and Xiao Shuang, were born in July, 2016. They now weigh 13.7 kilogrammes and 13 kilogrammes respectively and are both in very good health condition.
The panda twins met visitors in their outdoor playground for the first time yesterday.

Before that, they were living indoors and visitors could only see them through monitors.
Since the twins are not officially named yet, the zoo is now collecting names for them from panda fans until the end of February.
Chongqing zoo started to breed giant pandas in 1960. It now has 15 pandas.
