A trilateral meeting of Pakistan, Afghanistan and the US was today held here to discuss border security issues and cooperation in combating militancy.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif led Pakistan delegation while Afghan President Ashraf Ghani led his country's delegation at the talks held on the sidelines of Heart of Asia conference.
The US was represented by Deputy Secretary of State Antony J Blinken.

Pakistan PM's Advisor on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz, PM's Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhary were also present at the meeting.
Afghan delegation included Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani, National Security Advisor Hanif Atmar and Minister for Finance Ahmad Hakeemi.
Trilateral meeting was followed by a quadrilateral meeting which also included Chinse delegation led by its Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
